I am about to tell you have to make my fabulous Oero Cupcake recipe although I must warn you that this recipe may result in a large sugar rush and a visit to the dentist!

These are my yummy Oero Cupcakes

To make 12 Oero Cupcakes you will need

Cupcakes
1 pack of Oeros
100g plain flour
20g cocoa powder
140g caster sugar
1.5tsp baking powder
Pinch of salt
40g unsalted butter at room temperature
120ml whole milk
1 egg

Buttercream
600g icing sugar sifted
200g unsalted butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 tablespoons finely crushed oreos

Method

1. Preheat the oven to 170°C (325°F) gas 3

2. Put flour, cocoa, sugar and baking powder, salt and butter into a mixing bowl. Mix together with a electric whisker or large spoon

3. Twist the Oeros and place the half with cream on biscuit side down into the cupcake cases. Leave the Top half to one side

4. Spoon mixture into the 12 cases and cook for 20 minutes

5. For the buttercream, mix the butter with the icing sugar and vaniela extracts until a smooth cream has formed. Then mix in the crushed oeros

6. Use a piping bag and metal nozzle of your choice to pipe the cream onto cooled cupcakes.

7. Break the left over oero tops in half. Place these in the top of the buttercream.

When bitten into they look like this
