Pink Glitter Cupcakes

I must be one of the girlest girls around. I love anything pink or glittery. That's why I have made these cupcakes for all the girly girls out there!



To make 12 Pink Glitter Cupcakes you will need

Cupcakes
100g plain flour
140g caster sugar
1.5tsp baking powder
Pinch of salt
40g unsalted butter at room temperature
120ml whole milk
1 egg

Buttercream
600g icing sugar sifted
200g unsalted butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Teaspoon of pink edible glitter


Method

1. Preheat the oven to 170°C (325°F) gas 3

2. Put flour, sugar and baking powder, salt and butter into a mixing bowl. Mix together with a electric whisker or large spoon until smooth

3. Spoon mixture into the 12 cases and cook for 20 mins

4. For the buttercream, mix the butter with the icing sugar and vanilla extracts until a smooth cream has formed. Then mix in the pink glitter

5. Use a piping bag and metal nozzle of your choice, pipe the cream onto cooled cupcakes.

6. Sprinkle pink glitter on the top to finish off the cupcakes
